Lonesome Blossom- Acrylic on paper

A copy from the snap of a Hibiscus flower done on postcard size paper. The pink flower is offset by a golden background for "party" effects. This was done as a part of decor to adorn the walls of a room, to lend an air of jazz for a party. Hence the golden background. The snap is really not even 50% representative of the real thing.

Sweet Tweet- Acrylic on Paper

This is a post card size painting, which is part of a series in the same size.

Pot Luck- Acrylic on Canvas Board 20 x 25 cm

First things first. This painting is much more beautiful than the snap I took of it.I pushed her so much to paint this, as she tends to get distracted with other play things, that I was in  a hurry to upload it.I will try to upload another picture later as it is her best work till date and displays adult strokes. Also the demarcation of light with dark brown has brought about a beautiful contrast to the yellow pot.Am planning on pushing her to do a few oils, to make her transit from the careful, meticulous strokes to bold, rough and layered strokes of oils.

Crayons on paper

Three Musketeers- Acrylic on paper

Water Colour on Paper

A still life inspired by a similar painting done by a "grown up". She slightly played with the theme and juxtaposed wine against milk and ink!Three stages of life? Infant, schooling, adult? A slight problem with dimensions here but this was done when she was about 11 !Think its pretty good.
